On 9 August the Norwegian wood company Splitkon and the Industrial Development Corporation of Norway Siva signed an agreement to build the first CLT-plant in Norway. The production hall in Åmot western of Oslo is to be finished by autumn 2018. Construction work is expected to start shortly.

The plant will have a production capacity of 60,000 cu.m. It will be the biggest CLT-plant in Scandinavia, says Splitkon.
