Finland: in January-September wood imports decreased by 10%

In the first nine months of 2017 the Finnish wood imports decreased by 10% down to 6.7 million solid cubic meters, reports Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke).

The Finnish wood imports came up to 0.70 million solid cubic metres in September. 

Besides, in September forest industry products worth of EUR 0.99 billion were exported from Finland.

The real exports value of forest industry products in January-September was EUR 8.9 billion (deflated using wholesale price index, 1949=100). In real terms, the exports value decreased by 1% year-on-year.
