Egger - Russian Cartel Authority Approves of Gagarin Takeover

The Russian cartel authority has approved the takeover of the Russian chipboard manufacturer “OOO Gagarinskiy Fanerniy Zavod” in Gagarin by the EGGER Group. Schweighofer takes over M-real pulp mill

SCM Rebukes Homag For Patent Policy

Germany: Producer Prices For Wood Products in May

Reports of sawmills of declining softwood lumber prices in Germany are not yet reflected in the Producer Price Index of the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) in May 2011. As reported by the German Fuelwood and Pellet Association DEPV, there are slight price declines in wood pellets.
